london based Tim Walker started being interested in the world of photography, by collaborating with Cecil Beaton’s archive at the Condé Nast Library in London. He won the third place at The Independent Newspaper Photography Awards, and graduated at the Exeter College of Art in 1994; he worked as a photographer’s assistant in London, before moving to New York to be Richard Avedon’s full-time assistant.
