Simone Rocha was born in 1986 and is the daughter of dublin based fashion designer John Rocha. She worked at her father’s studio between the ages of 13 and 18. In 2008 rocha graduated with a BA in Fashion from The National College of Art and Design in Dublin continuing in 2010 to graduate from the acclaimed Fashion MA at Central Saint Martin’s College, London. September 2010 she debuted at London Fashion Week.  

As an internationally renowned designer, Rocha’s accolades have included being named Harper’s Bazaar Designer of the Year in 2016 and British Womenswear Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards in the same year. In 2014, Rocha won the New Establishment Award at the British Fashion Awards.

Rocha is known for her precise direction and youthful, rebellious aesthetic. At once sensible and poetic, Rocha’s collections are renowned for their forward-thinking use of space-age materials.
