For his women’s spring summer 2018 collection Dries van Noten was inspired by the art of Pablo Picasso, Pina Bausch, Tina Barney, Slim Aarons, Tony Duquette, as well as 1920s Deco to 1980s Decor.

“The most important thing, I wanted to make it a very happy and optimistic collection, we always say fashion can be a reflection of what’s happening in the world. But fashion can be also be escapism. For me, it was really important to have that.” – shared the designer with WWD.
